Year Reception Class Assembly
The Year Reception class assembly will be on the 7th June at 14:40. This is a change of date. Miss Anita Sutton would like to invite all Year Reception parents in to watch their assembly based on some of the learning from this term.
This year our school sports day will be on Monday 19th June. Mr Unsworth-Smith has organized a morning full of sporting activities for all year groups. Please ensure your child brings their sports kit with them on this day. The sports day will be open to parents. It will be held from 10:00 to 12:15. Further details will follow in a separate letter.
Schools 5 and 9 shall jointly host a summer fair on 9th June 2017 from 13:00 until 15:00 approximately. Parents are welcome to attend the fair with their children.
How can you help?
You can help by donating a gift for the raffle: gift certificates, wine, cosmetics, perfume, household items (cup sets, glass sets, frying pans), brunch certificates, beauty certificates, books, games, toys, etc.
You can help by giving small prizes for the stalls and fun games. Examples of the prizes: soft toys, diaries, small puzzles, pencil cases, colouring pencil, books, felt tips, photo frames, crayons, hair clips, hair bands, key rings, key charms, etc.

During the event vouchers will be used to buy raffle tickets and play games. The cost of vouchers will be 25 rubles. These will be on sale from 24th May. They will be sold in strips of 4 for 100 rubles.
This year, with monies raised through special events (such as the summer fair) School 9 will be sponsoring a Moscow orphanage - Boarding Orphanage House №7.
Year 6 Leavers Concert
This year the summer concert will be for our Year 6 pupils to say goodbye to the school. Year 6 will be performing ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ on the 22nd June from 1:45 – all Year 6 parents are welcome to attend.
Week beginning the 29th May will be assessment week – please help by ensuring your child arrives on time. Many thanks.
