A-level Programme
Having received the IGCSE, students can continue their studies following the classical
British programme and enter an A-level programme. This is the gold standard for British pre-university education.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The IB programme is created for students looking forward to enrolling at foreign universities, including ones in England. This is an international programme that allows students to apply to universities of more than 150 countries.
The main differences between A-level and IB programmes
A-level Programme
It suits you, if:
- You have decided on your future profession
- You want to focus on multiple subjects
- You are interested in applying to universities in the UK and other countries
The student chooses from 3 to 4 subjects. You can choose to study Mathematics, Biology, Geography, Economics, Chemistry, Physics and other subjects
Selected subjects are assessed based on the results of the final exams at the end of the second year
As a result of exams, each subject is graded
from A to E
A – highest score, а E – lowest score
A* is given to students with the highest academic achievement
from A to E

IB Diploma Programme
It suits you, if:
- You want to get a comprehensive education
- You have not yet made a decision regarding your future profession
- You plan to enter universities in Europe, the UK, the USA and other countries of the world
The student chooses 6 subjects from 6 different groups. You can choose 3 subjects at standard level and 3 at higher level
Selected subjects are assessed based on performance both during and at the end of the year
As a result of exams, a score is given for each subject
