On 13 September, the British International School took part in AngloFest, the first family English-language festival in Moscow dedicated to bilingualism and the English language.
The event took place at School 9 and brought together families, teachers, psychologists and experts interested in bilingualism. Children enjoyed a programme of games, workshops and creative activities, while parents could attend talks by specialists and bilingual parents, discover practical tips for supporting two languages at home and connect with like-minded families.
The festival also featured a charity fair, a networking area and an expo zone with event partners.
BIS had its own stand at the festival, where our team was delighted to meet parents, answer their questions and share more about our school, international education and our bilingual learning environment.
For BIS, AngloFest was a wonderful opportunity to meet families in person, exchange experiences and be part of a community united by a shared interest in languages, education and children’s development.
Thank you to the AngloFest team for creating such a warm and inspiring event and for giving us the opportunity to be part of it!
