The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) is a two-year programme for students aged 16-18, which opens the doors to top universities in over 100 countries worldwide.
To gain the IB Diploma, students must achieve at least 24 points. Each subject examination is worth up to 7 points and the final score is the sum of all subject scores. In addition, students can earn up to 3 extra points for completing core components such as the Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) course and the Extended Essay.
In 2024, the global average score was 30.3 (slightly higher than last year's 30.2), while the average result of our graduates is 34 points — 3.7 points above the global average. Many of our students even scored over 40 out of a possible 45 points!
We are incredibly proud of all the students and congratulate:
— Chung June Hyung — 44 points,
— Yang Suin — 44 points,
— Bakir Ali and Jeong Seokwoo — 40 points.
The hard work of each graduate, the constant support and motivation of our caring IB teachers and the entire BIS team made these achievements possible.
