At the end of May, School №1 celebrated Science Day. An interactive lesson was organised for the students and led by the Headteacher, Mr. Stuart Purves.
During the session, children not only learned about fascinating scientific phenomena but also took part in hands-on experiments themselves. They carried out experiments with paper and a cathode-ray tube, discovering how everyday objects can help explain the laws of physics and the properties of materials.
The interactive format sparked great curiosity and prompted many questions from the children. Activities like these help develop inquisitive minds, encourage scientific thinking, and inspire students to make new discoveries.
