Extracurricular activities are an important part of the educational process at BIS. We complement the curriculum with numerous extracurricular activities: from theme days to trips. Recently, our Year 10 students from School 5 enjoyed an excursion to the Lev Tolstoy State Museum. This is one of the oldest literary museums in Russia. It was founded in 1911 at the initiative of the Tolstoy Society. Its funds contain authentic things, manuscripts, portraits, photographs of the writer and his relatives. It is the world's largest collection of items associated with Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy.
