History
1994
School foundation
In 1994, the first private international school for children aged 3-7 was established. Education at School 1 is conducted in English. For students who do not yet speak English, the school offers an additional support programme
1995
1995 — opening of schools 2 and 3
In 1995, two more international schools were established: School 2 for children from 7 to 11 years old and School 3 for children from 11 years old. These schools are still successfully operating in accordance with the English National Curriculum providing education entirely in English
1997
1997 — opening of School 5 and Kindergarten
School 5 became the first school with a Russian education programme for children from 4 to 18 years old. English language training is conducted by experienced teachers for children from 4 years old
2011
2011 — Cambridge University Accreditation
In 2011, BIS² received the CIS certificate for the first time, which entitled the school to conduct Cambridge English examminations
2007
2007 — opening of primary School 9
School 9 offers education in English for children from 3 to 11 years. For children who speak English at an insufficiently level, a special adaptation programme is organised
2002
2002 — creation of the programme International Baccalaureate (IB programme)
According to the results of recent years, BIS² graduates have received higher exam scores compared to the world average score among other international schools, which allowed hundreds of BIS² graduates to enrol in 22 universities from the world top 50 list

2014 — opening of Secondary School 7
From 2014 Students of School 7 can study under the A-level and IGCSE programmes and have the opportunity to enrol in leading universities

The A-level programme is recognized in the UK as the «gold standard» of education. It gives the opportunity to enrol in universities in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and other countries of the world
