Appointment of a new Headteacher of School 5

Olga Igorevna graduated from the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute with a degree in biology and chemistry. In spite of this, her biggest hobby has always been - and still is - English, which gave her the motivation to get a second higher education as an English teacher. Afterwards, Olga Igorevna held the positions of Director of the School, Deputy Director for Foreign Languages, and Head of the Structural Unit at the International School. The internships she completed at Oxford and The Hague helped her to gain a better understanding of teaching in an international environment.

Having worked both in a Russian and international public school, Olga Dmitrieva has a wealth of experience in leading a school and maintaining a vibrant environment for implementing the English National Curriculum, Foundation Stage, IB programme, as well as the Russian educational programme according to the Federal State Education Standard.

Our school is very happy to have Olga Igorevna join the British International School team in the new academic year as Headteacher of school 5.
