Every child dreams of trying themselves in the role of a protagonist.
At school 1, a series of events dedicated to the Book Week at BIS offered such an opportunity.
The students, together with their teachers and teachers from other classes, plunged into the wonderful world of books. The school has also had the pleasure of welcoming special guests into school, as some parents came in to read to the children.
Apart from traditional reading sessions, the school teachers also prepared interesting quests and tasks. The children had to make their own maps and make paper models of airplanes, which were later launched in the classroom.
To finish, on Friday we had a costume parade, where the children dressed in costumes of characters from books they enjoyed. The best costumes were rewarded with a prize of a free book to take home.
We are glad that the students, together with their parents and teachers made the most of the week!
