In December 2022, a solemn event of the CCAAIBWS, the Caucasus and Central Asian Association of IB World Schools was held in Baku.
Among the guests of honor were representatives of the leading international schools in the region, as well as the British International School. As a key IB partner and licensed school, we couldn't miss such an important meeting.
It was a very busy event with speakers and guests from all over the world, including IBO Director General Olli-Pekka Heinonen. More than 55 speakers, about 800 participants and over 170 schools attended.
During the conference, we discussed not only the best practices in teaching the IB programme, but also the possibility of cooperation with more than 17 other IB schools.
We are grateful to Mr. Francesco Banchini, Director and CEO of the European Azerbaijan School, for his invitation and hospitality during our stay in Baku. We look forward to working with IB schools within the CCAAIBWS Association.
