For Year 13 students this academic year has been a truly eventful one.
For Year 13 students this academic year has been a truly eventful one.
We join in the congratulations to the graduates and would like to share a parting speech of the IB programme coordinator.
'Graduation is a case in point. The Ceremony has medieval vestiges still (Caps and Gowns), but has moved on from the original idea of a Graduate as someone with a Degree. The Latin behind the word has really the feel of a stepping stone.
Graduation Day was a day for our Year 13 to celebrate their school years, celebrate the weight lifted off your shoulders from the demands of the IB and a time for you to reflect on the years gone by; full of formalities and frolics. Monday 23rd May was just that, marking both an ending and a beginning; with warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future.
We wish Year 13 the very best in their studies and future endeavours, whatever they may be.'
