This trimester, the Year 2CL explores the bright colors and bold strokes that the Impressionists used to create natural and urban landscapes on their canvases.
The children got acquainted with the works of Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Jean Metzinger. We studied the drawing technique they used and the styles in which they worked.
In the last lesson of this topic, the children experimented and used swirling, twisting, spiral watercolor lines to represent the city sky. We think it turned out great!
