At the beginning of June, a team of Year 12 students of British International School took part in the International Schools Debate Competition.
All the students had to pass two stages: a debate on a prepared topic and an improvisation. Despite the academic workload at the end of the year, the students met every day to prepare for the competition and we are pleased to announce that the BIS team won the first round and came second in the second round. The children had a unique experience of participating, learning new techniques and becoming more confident speakers. This is another win for the school and a major achievement for our students!
