School’s №3 students went on a 4-day trip for vivid impressions in Murmansk and its suburbs. What did they do there? They…
- enjoyed the views of the vast tundra;
- saw the world's first nuclear-powered icebreaker;
- admired the beauty of the ice-free waterfall;
- tasted sea delicacies and unique local cuisine.
The students also learnt about the customs of the Sami people, fed reindeer (can you imagine that no more than 10% of the world's population have ever seen them?), rode in dog sledges and even had a ritual with a local shaman!
But the main mission was to make a wish under the northern lights! In the evening, the students went to search and luck smiled on them — right in front of them the unique natural phenomenon with an unusual, but very beautiful name Aurora Borealis appeared.
«Thank you all so much for this amazing trip! Without each of you there wouldn’t have been so many impressions, emotions and memorable moments!», says our student Ivan.
We are happy for our students, because now the city, which is called the gateway to the Arctic, has been added to their collection of atmospheric trips!
