10 students from School №3 took part in the UK Junior Maths Challenge. It's a 60-minute math contest where you have to choose the correct answer from multiple options. The competition develops mathematical thinking, accuracy and mental fluency in using basic methods to solve interesting mathematical problems.
We are pleased to announce that 2 students of the school, Gwyneth Wong (Y7) and Alexsey Kharchenko (Y8), scored more than 65 points and received silver certificates. And 2 students, Lev Komzya (Y8) and Jeehoo Wang (Y8) scored from 50 points and received bronze certificates of participation.
More than 300,000 students took part in the competition, and only 10% received silver certificates, so this is a major achievement for the students and for the school.
