Dear parents,
This has been another busy half-term with lots going on. This week we all enjoyed science day – where children undertook a range of experiments and many took part in the much anticipated science fair. After the February holiday, school 9 will be looking forward to a number of events, including: Maslenitsa, School 9Talent Show, and Book Week.
Cambridge Exams.
Please remember that all application forms for the Cambridge Exams need to be returned by 4th March.
Cambridge Exam Book Fair.
In order to help with your child’s preparation for the Cambridge Exams, Britannia Books will be holding a book fair at School 9 on Monday 29th February after-school so that you can purchase practice materials.
Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE).
At School 9, we are an inclusive and caring school. As such, within our school curriculum there are a number of underlying core values, these include: tolerance, respect, rule of law, and kindness to others. Furthermore, we have recently developed our school curriculum so that children can be explicitly taught PSHE skills – each year group has a range of PSHE objectives that build upon the school’s core values.
Government Holidays.
This is a reminder that the school will be closed on the 7th and 8th March due to government holidays.
