At the British International School, we believe that environmental education is an important contribution to the future.
At School 5, the students have been widely engaged in the project within the framework of Eco-Autumn activities. They designed a website “Ecopark BIS5”, identified plants using special programs on smartphones, and collected information about the plants on the Internet. Then they created QR codes and, finally, the website itself.
We really hope that as a result of teamwork, they managed to transform the school territory into an educational space. This project is a great opportunity to use the acquired environmental knowledge in practice.
BIS Community is also engaged in social and environmental programmes and organises meetings and educational events for students, parents, and graduates. Many events have already been planned for the next few months. Stay tuned.
