At preschool age, children become very inquisitive. Teachers must support this desire to learn and encourage their students to explore the world around them.

BIS teachers always try to prepare interesting classes for our young researchers. Last week in science class, School 1 first graders explored the materials which people use daily (cloth, metal, wood, plastic, paper, rubber, and glass). At the beginning of the lesson, the children shared their general knowledge and ideas about what the materials meant to them. They learned a lot of new things and took part in a game activity - to determine what material this or that object was made of, for example, their toys.
The introduction of games and their elements in the educational process contributes to a better understanding of educational material. Ordinary lessons are turned into an interesting and exciting pastime, which is important for children’s development.
