The BIS senior students have an annual tradition to see the play «Yesenin’s Women» at the Gorky Moscow Art Academic Theatre. Sergei Esenin is one of the key figures of 20th-century poetry. We organise visits to the theatre so that children can better feel and understand what they read in their literature lessons.
The students not only recalled famous poems but also looked at the great poet's work from a new angle, through the prism of his lovers.Esenin's work is very autobiographical, so studying his life is important for understanding his poems.
