It is surely exceptional for a school to have two
students receive the highest exam marks in the world.
It is surely exceptional for a school to have two students receive the highest exam marks in the world. But, this is exactly what happened in BISM 7 this year. We are extremely proud of Maria Lagutina, who achieved the highest IGCSE mark in the world for Mathematics. Maria outperformed tens of thousands of pupils across the globe. And we are equally proud of Margarita Yakovitskaya, who achieved the same feat for Russian Language.
We are delighted that they are continuing to study in BISM in Year 12. No doubt, they will achieve fantastic A-Level results, and like our other students, go onto global recognized first class universities.
