School №3 has shared the results of its participation in the international UKMT (UK Mathematics Trust) Mathematics Challenge, which each year brings together hundreds of thousands of students and aims to develop mathematical ability and logical thinking.
UK Mathematics Trust competitions are designed to identify talented and creative students for potential selection to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). They also play an important role in broadening school mathematics: students not only apply theory in practice, but also engage in a competitive environment that strengthens their analytical thinking. The problems cover a range of areas, including algebra, geometry, combinatorics, number theory, and advanced logic.
Students from School №3 took part in the UKMT Challenge, successfully engaged with the international format, and achieved excellent results:
5 students received Certificates of Achievement
7 students were awarded Silver Certificates
Seoyeon, a Year 10 student, achieved a Gold Certificate
Participation in international mathematics competitions such as UKMT helps students develop critical thinking, confidence in their abilities, and a strong interest in the mathematical sciences.
We congratulate all participants on their well-deserved results and wish them continued success!
