Valentine's Day is the most romantic holiday in the whole world.
Valentine's Day is the most romantic holiday in the whole world. The traditions of every country differ when it comes to celebrating it. In England, couples have a romantic dinner or go to the movies together. Also, the British offer well-wishes not only to their beloved, but also their parents, relatives, and friends. Symbolising the way to a person's heart, spoons of love symbolise the way to a lover's heart in Wales. In South Africa, women traditionally pin the names of their beloveds to the sleeves of their shirts on this holiday.
What traditions exist in our school on this beautiful day?
As a symbol of friendship, schoolchildren exchanged valentine cards with their classmates. As well as being very cute and touching, it is a great way to decorate the classroom for Valentine's Day. We all felt positive emotions throughout the day due to the beautiful atmosphere at the school. On the first floor, a box was kept for secret confessions. These messages were later forwarded to their intended recipients.
Another highlight was the quiz. In the end, everyone had a chance to test their knowledge of interesting facts and the history of the holiday, and the most active students received prizes for their efforts.
We congratulate you on this holiday. Happy Valentine's day!
