Year 10 students of BISM 5 visited the Vakhtangov Theater.
Recently, Year 10 students of the Russian department of the British International School visited the State Academic Theater named after Yevgeny Vakhtangov. The children watched the ‘The Metamorphosis’ play based on the work of the same name by Franz Kafka.
Franz Kafka is one of the key figures of 20th century literature. His works are taught in literature lessons. In order to help the children to better feel and understand what they read, a visit to the performance was organised.
Regular extracurricular activities are one of the features of the educational process at BIS. They often relate to topics that children learn in class. This is a great opportunity to broaden the horizons and to go beyond the school curriculum.
