In the modern world, it's so easy to get lost in the flow of information that we encounter daily, thus the school has an important duty to teach each child to read, transform and utilise huge amounts of information in a short period of time.
In the modern world, it's so easy to get lost in the flow of information that we encounter daily, thus the school has an important duty to teach each child to read, transform and utilise huge amounts of information in a short period of time. An excellent way to foster this skill is preparing a preparation or a project.
At School 3, Year 12s presented interesting work about the key features of the UK's former prime ministers’ economic policies. The students had both to find the necessary information on the topic themselves, and to think over the project’s design. After presentations, everyone took part in the discussion and received feedback not only from the teacher, but also from their classmates on how to improve their research abilities and public speaking skills in the future.
