My child studied at BIS 9 on Nakhimovsky Prospekt from September 2020 to March 2023 in Years 3 and 4 in the British programme (we decided to move to another country). Many thanks to the teachers. Especially dear Mr Nape and Mr Rafton. They are dedicated teachers. Also thanks to Mr Gavin and Mr Brown, they are great professionals. Mr Kelly is a wonderful Headteacher who always has everything under control (there is no a sense of indifference at school). The international programme is taught entirely in English (British English, all teachers have excellent pronunciation). There is an EAL group for those who need to improve their language skills. The teachers are passionate about their work (which is the most important thing; I think), the programme is engaging, but at the same time academic. There are often tests and parents' meetings. Holidays are organised to the highest standard. We had a goal to avoid the stress of moving to another country, and this goal has been achieved. The child successfully passed the interview to a new good school in another country without any problems.

There are a few hours of Russian language (and almost none is spent reading), but we knew it before we entered the school (if you study an international programme). There are numerous school clubs (some of them are included in the tuition fee).

The main thing for me is that my child really liked the school. The teachers do their best to make sure that the children learn, but at the same time they use a lot of games in the process, so the learning is really fun.

Dear Mr Purves and all our teachers, from our hearts we'd like to say "Thank you!" for an important period of lifetime of our child at BIS. For his 1 year of fundamental knowledge and your professional ways and efforts of bringing him up, for your kind attitude, patience and mutual understanding.

Thank you to the school for the experience, knowledge and support. And of course for the incredible trip to Altai.

Vuk made great progress in English, Maths, Russian. From not speaking English he started to play at home in English. He started to read and write in Russian and solve simple everyday Maths problems. Thank you, School 1!

Many thanks to all teaching staff for supporting Maxim in the very first steps of his long educational journey. Special appreciation to Mr Harrison and Mr Smith for creative and engaging lessons and amazing school activities this academic year!

We are very grateful for all your help, support and friendly attitude towards our son. Mate had a wonderful year in school, he left and returned home with a big smile every day. We also saw a lot of progress in his learning, especially in Mathematics, reading and expressing himself more alearly in English. We can not express how grateful we are to all the teachers but especially to Mr Kelly for creating such a wonderful, fun and open for thinking environment which made Mate even more eager to learn and discover new things!

We would like to thank all the teachers of the school team who have so patiently helped Elina to study during this educational year. But especially we want to emphasize the professional work of Ms Harris. We are very happy that by the end of the school year Elina had an experience to be in the class of such a wonderful teacher. Elina really loves Ms Harris. We appreciate that Ms Harris is always polite and well-mannered, and she teaches her students these important values for life! We wish all the teachers further success in their work and more good, obedient students.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful approach to my child's education. Research activities are prevalent in lessons. Teachers conduct experiments and measurements in a simple, enjoyable way with the use of cutting-edge technologies and interesting, colourful materials. The classrooms are all well-equipped. 
Teachers are cheerful, and every issue is resolved immediately and competently. The atmosphere at the school that values and accepts every team member, from the child to the parent.  My daughter loves and respects Mr. Rafton, an incredibly skilled teacher and an incredible person.

In less than 2 months of study he grows a lot. Thank you for your hard work and yours concern. I hope son can make more progress in the next school year.

All three of my children attended the British International School. The eldest Anya (25 years old) graduated from the Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford and now works in London. The middle one (18 years old) is studying in London at the Faculty of Economics, and the youngest (13 years old) is now studying at Concord College. Thank you very much for your help on this difficult path! Many Russian children have received a ticket to a great interesting life after studying at your school.
